The only café in the village. A full English, a Cypriot brunch, souvlakia fresh off the grill, and a cold Keo waiting for you at the end of the road.
Tucked into the hills of the Troodos mountains, Paliomylos Café sits in one of Cyprus's most peaceful and picturesque villages. The kind of place you find when you take the road less travelled and wonder why you ever went anywhere else.
We are the only café in Paliomylos, and we take that seriously. Every plate is made with care, every coffee is poured with pride, and the view from your table is, frankly, unfair on everywhere else.
Whether you have driven up from Limassol, ridden in from Nicosia with your club, or simply followed the smell of fresh coffee through the mountains, you are very welcome here.

Brunch is having a moment in Cyprus, and people are travelling all over the island to find it. At Paliomylos, you get the brunch and the mountain air for free.
Our signature. English breakfast meets Cypriot tradition on one plate.
A traditional Cypriot brunch made with fresh local ingredients.
The full works. No compromises, no shortcuts.
The roads through the Troodos mountains are some of the best riding in Cyprus. Sweeping bends, dramatic scenery, clean air, and very little traffic. Motorcycle clubs and cycling groups make the trip regularly, and more and more of them are ending their route right here.
Arrive, park up, and let us look after you. A table in the fresh mountain air, souvlakia off the grill, sheftalies the way they are supposed to taste, and a cold draught Keo to finish. Parking is available for bikes and groups of all sizes.
From a thick Cyprus coffee to a cold Freddo Cappuccino on a warm mountain morning.
The name says it all. Paliomylos means "old mill" in Greek, and the village takes its name from the ancient water mill that once ground grain here for communities across the Troodos region.
The mill harnessed the natural streams that flow through these mountains, turning water into flour and flour into bread for generations of Cypriot families. That same spirit of making something real from something natural is what guides everything we put on your plate today.
Come and see it for yourself.
"We rode up from Limassol on a Saturday morning and ended the day at Paliomylos Café. The Paliomylos Brunch was incredible. Halloumi, bacon, eggs, fresh OJ and coffee all for twelve euros. We will be back every weekend."
"Our cycling club found this place on a Troodos route and it has become our regular end-of-ride stop. The souvlakia are exceptional, the draught Keo is cold, and the setting is something else entirely."
"Drove up from Larnaca with the family on a Sunday. The children's menu kept the kids happy, the Continental Breakfast kept me happy, and the village wine kept my husband very happy. A perfect Cypriot Sunday."
